The Sagittarius solar eclipse is happening right next to the Galactic Centre. I know, right! The actual centre of our galaxy. In astrology this supermassive black hole represents gut feeling, intuition and the higher self.
When planets transit the Galactic Centre (found in the last five degrees of Sagittarius) it’s believed we go through a sort of accelerated spiritual upgrade. If the Galactic Centre is activated by an eclipse such as this we’re effortlessly encouraged to shift old emotional wounds, burdens and blockages, ready to propel us into a much brighter future.
If you have a birthday around this time of year you will be naturally aligned with the energy of the universe, lucky you! There’s often an other-worldly quality to people who have natal planets aligned with the Galactic Centre, you’ll likely be super ‘tuned in’ via your intuition which will channel itself through the energy of those planets.
I often mention how at the exact time of the conjunction the moon is still dark and how traditionally you would wait until the first sign of a crescent moon to plant a seed or start something new. This really is the case with Monday’s spectacular eclipse.
A week later, quite by chance at the winter solstice on the 21st of December, we have a rare game-changing conjunction between Saturn and Jupiter in the first degree of Aquarius. This makes the solar eclipse a chance to improve your world beyond recognition as you receive a spiritually-charged new beginning.
When writing your new moon intentions (next weekend ideally in the lead up to the winter solstice) you might like to create a piece of art which symbolises your wish having come true. Wear goldstone to enhance this energy.
Goldstone is said to attract success and lift the spirits. The copper flecks in goldstone are not only physically beneficial when worn next to the skin but remind us of the stars in the night sky, of the many realms of possibility and achieving our dreams.
The only warning this week comes in the form of Neptune who is in a tense square alignment to the eclipse. This could mean some sort of confusion and quite probably another surge in the coronavirus pandemic causing challenges over the next few weeks.
We’re not out of the woods quite yet no matter how uplifting and magical this week may be. And with the final Mars square of 2020 swiftly approaching there’s a sense of the final surge building up as we birth a new world in January. Be safe!
Law of Attraction
This new moon solar eclipse is conjunct Mercury and trine Mars which makes it perfect for working with the law of attraction. It’s an energising and mentally stimulating sort of energy, a great time to manifest goals.
This is also the last eclipse with both Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn. It’s said that when these two planets leave a sign, not to return for over a decade, you receive a gift in this area of your life. A reward for a job well done.
In fact, as this is the final eclipse with both Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn it may be a good idea to work on shedding some of the blocks holding you back before you begin to manifest your dreams.
Find some time before you make your intentions to rid yourself of any psychological burdens so you can accept the new and the sublime into your life. Forgive yourself and others. You could try journaling, EFT, or even work with a therapist, but whatever you do it should be quite easy to unburden yourself under the current skies.
When writing your new moon intentions or creating your piece of art this week be sure to listen to your higher calling. This solar eclipse is a chance to improve your world. You are about to receive a spiritually-charged new beginning. Make a wish!
